When do I pay for services?

We keep a running track of the services you use throughout the year, and payment is due eat the end of the year based on your usage. Our goal is to make the platform easy to use when you need it, without requiring constant payments or unnecessary commitments along the way.

How much does it cost to join?

It costs nothing to join. The platform is free to use, and most services are handled through individual in-app purchases when you actually need help. After the first year, if you choose to store your home documents, inspection reports, and related records in the platform, there is a $50 annual fee to help cover maintenance and technology costs. If you do not want to store documents in the platform, there is no annual fee.

How much does an on-site diagnosis cost?

The minimum call-out fee for an on-site diagnosis is $100. The total cost may increase depending on your location, the amount of time required, and the scope of the visit. In many cases, we expect the average cost to be around $200.

What does a floor elevation survey recheck cost?

A floor elevation survey recheck starts at $200. The final cost may increase depending on the location, size of the house, and amount of time required.

Do you get kickbacks from contractors?

No. We do not receive kickbacks from contractors. Some contractors may share data with us, which helps improve our system and recommendations over time, but we do not take referral fees or kickbacks for sending work to contractors.

Can you provide engineering design if engineering design is needed?

In some cases, yes. For certain types of work, we may be able to provide either a formal design or a conceptual layout to help guide the repair process. For larger repairs, many contractors already work with their own engineers and may handle the design process directly. In those cases, we can still help review the situation, explain the options, and provide guidance as needed.

Can you come out and check contractor work after it is performed?

In general, yes. If there is clarity on what was supposed to be done and the contractor is reputable, we can usually come out and perform a follow-up check. In many cases, photos taken during the work may be enough for us to review progress and provide feedback. When an on-site visit is needed, we can schedule one.

If I am preparing my house for sale, can you help me get things ready?

Yes. We can help from a project management and advisory standpoint by identifying what should be addressed before sale, helping coordinate next steps, and guiding you toward the right repairs or reports based on our experience. We can also help you think through what is likely to matter most during the sale process and, when appropriate, provide referrals to experienced local realtors.
