What do you enjoy most about the inspections?
 

I enjoy identifying how a structure behaves and understanding the root cause behind foundation movement. Every home tells a unique story, and translating those observations into clear, actionable guidance for homeowners is genuinely rewarding. Helping people make informed decisions with confidence is what I find most fulfilling.

What attracted you to BEAR and this role?
 

The opportunity to combine field investigation, engineering judgment, and homeowner education is exactly the type of work that energizes me. What are some of your hobbies / interests outside of work?
 

I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring Bay Area hiking trails and keeping up with architectural, construction and building technology innovations. I also like working on hands-on home improvement and renovation projects.

Is there anything unique from your past that helped prepare you for this?
 

My background spans civil engineering, construction management and hands-on project execution. I’ve supervised engineers and contractors, managed multimillion-dollar construction projects, and inspected hundreds of properties. This combination allows me to approach inspections with both technical expertise and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
