What do you enjoy most about the inspections?
No two houses are the same and you never know what you're walking into when you enter a crawlspace, and I enjoy having to apply real engineering judgment on the spot to figure out what's going on.
What attracted you to BEAR and this role?
After a few internships in office settings, I knew I wanted something more hands-on. The idea of being out in the field and meeting new people was a big draw.
What are some of your hobbies / interests outside of work?
I love to travel and stay active, I'm currently at 23 out of 30 countries with a goal to hit 30 before I turn 30! When I'm not traveling, you'll find me hiking, running, and in the gym.
Is there anything unique from your past that helped prepare you for this?
My background in subsurface utility engineering gave me a strong foundation in understanding what's happening below grade. An adventurous mindset from years of travel has also helped
